The article 'Is Whitney Trying to Kill Herself?' and the 49 pictures posted were disturbing. I was troubled all day the Saturday I read it, and when I heard she died the same day I cried. Whitney was upset about articles, pictures and postings about her; it hurt and much of it was unfair. What right do we have to publicize someone's challenges, especially a woman of her stature? Was the article intended to hurt her or to in some way be constructive, to boost ratings or alarm us about the sense of urgency.

After Whitney's death I became upset and concerned about the way outpatient rehab is administered for people with money. In urban programs, there is no one to serve you eggs, bacon and toast, you have to get up at 6 AM, go to the market, come back and cook, clean up afterwards, etc. There are no pills to calm you down; you can't even take vitamins. I am hurt; Whitney is my favorite singer. I truly admire her talent.

I saw the Whitney suicide article...after the death, and I did wonder...do you think Whitney saw that? I pray not! Anyway, for all those reportedly in the room with her, I think it was just a Huge Fatal Mistake!! She probably tried to secretly slip in some anxiety meds to prepare for the pre-grammy party, and it probably being mixed with alcohol...just didn't work out.

We all mourn the loss of our beloved sister and shining star...Whitney Houston. Thus far it sounds like an "accidental overdose" on prescription medication. The truth is, would've could've should've are now only thoughts we can ponder. Unfortunately most people hold celebrities in "high esteem", so much so that the world and even the people around them often treat them as commodities and items rather than "real people". Make no mistake about it, we all have DECISION to make and we are RESPONSIBLE regarding how we live our lives and who we allow to be apart of our Life's Journey.

In the end...each of us are RESPONSIBLE for how we treat each other and how we treat OURSELVES. Sad to say many have attempted to INTERVENE in the lives of celebrities; Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Don Cornelius, Amy Winehouse, Lindsay Lohan, Brittany Spears, etc...and the list goes ON AND ON. After YOU'VE DONE ALL THAT YOU CAN...THEN YOU HAVE TO LET GO and LET GOD HAVE HIS WAY...
